Shorecliffs is a community in the north area of San Clemente, California, that is considered to be prime real estate because of its ocean front location, and golf course that flow through it.
Shorecliffs offers a variety of single level and two story homes that were built by Pacesetter Homes. Residents enjoy having access to the private beach, which is accessed under the Pacific Coast Highway. Select homes have views of both the golf course and shoreline. Homes have three to five bedrooms, two to three baths, and two-car garages. Living space ranges from 1,490 to 2,042 square feet. Street names that run through this tract include Via Lado, Via Montego, Calle Vista Torito, Calle Tinaja, Avenida Vaquero, Via San Andreas, Via Socorro, Via Verbena, and Via San Gornonio.
The Capistrano Unified School District offers public education facilities such as Marblehead Elementary School, Shorecliffs Middle School, and San Clemente High School. The high school offers an International Baccalaureate (IB) program, as well as advanced placement courses. The Capistrano Connections Academy is a virtual public K-12 school that allows for more flexible classes. And there are several private schools like Our Lady of Fatima Parish School, Our Savior’s Lutheran School, and Talega Preparatory Academy.
The Shorecliffs Golf Course offers 6,140 yards of golf for a par of 71. The course opened in 1964, and was designed by Joe Williams. There are 18 holes, and a 13-tee driving range. There are several shopping centers, like Ocean View Plaza Shopping Center and Plaza Pacifica. The Outlets at San Clemente is an outdoor shopping center that offers 70 merchants like Starbucks and Levi’s Outlet Store.
San Clemente is known as the “Spanish Village by the Sea” because of its Spanish Colonial architecture. It is also one of the best surfing cities in California, with its year-long swells. There are many surfing shops and companies in this area.
